The fear nobody says out loud
“What if I pay and it doesn’t work?” You’re not the first with that thought. And it’s a completely reasonable fear. You’re sending your code. possibly the most important thing you’ve built so far. to someone you don’t know. Of course you want certainty.
Here’s how we eliminate every risk, step by step.
Risk 1: “I pay for something that wasn’t agreed”
You receive a binding Production Plan before you pay a single euro. It states exactly: what we do, what it costs, and how long it takes. Don’t agree? No invoice. Ever.
Risk 2: “It gets more expensive halfway through”
The price is fixed. Period. If something comes up during the work that falls outside scope? You get a new quote upfront. No surprises on the invoice.
Risk 3: “My code gets stolen”
We sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) before you share a single line of code. All code we write is contractually your property. After delivery + 30 days, our access is revoked.
Risk 4: “The result isn’t what I expected”
You see intermediate results. Not a surprise after three weeks, but ongoing updates so you know what’s happening. After go-live, we’re on call for 48 hours for critical issues.
Daan submitted his Lovable prototype for a Production Plan. He expected a simple deployment. “it already works, it just needs to go online.” Our plan revealed 14 issues, 5 of them critical.
No secure login (anyone could log in as anyone else). Open database. Payments in test mode. No secure connection. Secret keys visible in the code.
For each issue, we explained: what the problem is, why it’s dangerous (in plain language), and what we’ll do about it.
Daan: “I thought I was almost done. Now I understand why this is needed. the fact that you explain it in plain language makes all the difference.”
Had he said no? He would have paid zero euros. The Production Plan is free. Always.
